คงจะปฏิเสธไม่ได้ว่า เสื้อผ้า เครื่องนุ่งห่มถือเป็นหนึ่งในปัจจัยสี่ที่สำคัญของมนุษย์ตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน อุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอ และเครื่องนุ่งห่มจึงเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่มีการเติบโตเร็วมาก และสิ่งที่ตามมาคือวัสดุที่เหลือใช้ หรือเศษผ้าต่างๆ ที่มีอยู่ในสต๊อกเพิ่มมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ซึ่งเศษผ้าเหล่านี้สามารถที่จะนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ให้เกิดประโยชน์แทนที่จะอยู่ในสต๊อกของโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม

ผ้าบางส่วนก็ไม่มีขายทั่วไปในประเทศไทย หรือไม่สามารถที่จะสั่งเองได้ ฉะนั้น บางครั้งก็จะได้ผ้าที่มีคุณภาพดีมากๆ ด้วย หลายๆ ครั้งเราก็เห็นมันออกมาเป็นผลงานที่ไม่น่าเชื่อว่าจะนำไปทำได้

👕we could not deny that clothing is one of four important factors in our life since the past old days till now. Textile and garment industry therefore is a fast growing industry, and this resulted in increasing stocks of leftover fabric or those unused due to over-purchased to be kept in the factories. All these can be reused to create new value.

Moreloop started with “pain and passion”. They fortunately found the idea of circular economy. Formerly, They viewed this waste as the problem huge amount of leftover materials seen, 50 million tons from various industries.

This figure is more than those from household waste. So, they are doubt, apart from fabric, what else they are amongst these 50 million tons. They considered that online platform is accessible by all, so they put in information about this and upload pictures thru this channel. Because they want to be medium connecting factories with leftover items and buyers with data. By this way, we can maximize those raw material kept in the factory to their ultimate value.

These leftover items kept in roll or uncut fabric sheet. They are best raw material just being unused. Some of them neither available in domestic market nor able to be ordered.

Hence, best quality fabric may be offered sometimes. Frequently we were astonished with finished works, that such fabric can be turned out like these.

For Moreloop, we could not command our suppliers to provide us fabric with specific color and quantity. Variation of color at the amount required is acceptable. It is challenge to win customers’ demand.

Moreloop are the medium facilitating both side and promote all these aspects. What we communicate is to let them all touch the materials to change their mindset.

Only for fabric 350,000 tons. All these deadstock fabric can make clothes for all Thais around 10 per person. About 700 million shirts a year.
