คนไทยรวมใจสู้ภัยโควิด-19 #Saveพนักงานเก็บขยะ

บุรินทร์เจอนี่ร่วมกับฟิน ฟิน แชนแนลทำโครงการที่มีชื่อว่า “คนไทยรวมใจ สู้โควิด 19” และอีก 1 โครงการที่น่าสนใจมีชื่อว่า #เซฟพนักงานเก็บขยะ

โครงการนี้เกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร

คนส่วนใหญ่จะนึกถึงคุณหมอ พยาบาลเป็นสิ่งแรก แต่อีกกลุ่มที่สำคัญไม่แพ้กัน เพราะเกี่ยวกับสาธารณสุขด้วย ก็คือ “พนักงานเก็บขยะ”

“พวกเรามีคุยกันว่าจะใช้คำว่า คนเก็บขยะ หรือ พนักงานเก็บขยะ แต่เรารู้สึกว่า อยากให้ใช้คำว่าพนักงาน เพราะว่าหน้าที่มีเกียรติ มีศักดิ์ศรีเท่ากันในฐานะมนุษย์คนหนึ่ง เราก็เลยใช้คำว่า #saveพนักงานเก็บขยะ”

วิธีการเข้าถึงพนักงานเก็บขยะเพื่อมอบสิ่งของจำเป็น

สิ่งที่ตั้งใจจะมอบให้พนักงานเก็บขยะ ก็คือ หน้ากากอนามัย และแอลกอฮอล์ โดยตอนแรกอยากจะทำผ่านส่วนกลางเพื่อความเหมาะสม และคาดว่าส่วนกลางน่าจะทราบว่าสำนักงานเขตไหนขาด หรือมีความต้องการอย่างเร่งด่วน แต่ก็เข้าใจว่า เนื่องจากสถานการณ์โรคระบาดนี้มันเป็นโรคอุบัติใหม่

ทุกอย่างมันก็ใหม่หมด ทุกคนก็เหนื่อยหมด เขาคงไม่ว่างที่จะมารับสายเรา จึงตัดสินใจไม่รอ และเดินหน้าทำรายชื่อขึ้นมาประมาณ 10 กว่าเขต จากการโทรติดต่อสำนักงานเขต ทำให้ทราบว่าในส่วนของรักษาความสะอาด ยังแบ่งย่อยไปอีก เช่น คนกวาดถนน ฉะนั้น เวลาได้ข้อมูลมา จึงเป็นข้อมูลรวมในภาคส่วนที่รักษาความสะอาดของเขตนั้นๆ

สรุปยอดการระดมทุนได้เท่าไหร่

ยอดระดมทุนรวมอยู่ที่ประมาณแสนกว่าบาท ซึ่งแสนกว่าบาทที่เราได้มานี้ เฉพาะตัวเงิน เนื่องจากบางคนบริจาคเป็นแอลกอฮอล์ และหน้ากาก ตอนนี้ยังมีหน้ากากที่สั่งผลิต นอกเหนือจากที่ได้รับบริจาคมา อีกประมาณ 540 กว่าโหล จากชุมชนที่สระบุรี เท่ากับได้ช่วยเหลือชุมชนไปด้วย

เราได้บทเรียนอะไรจากการทำงานครั้งนี้บ้าง

เราก็จะได้เรียนรู้ว่า เราไม่สามารถทำคนเดียวได้อีกต่อไป เราต้องมารวมพลังกัน ที่เขาเน้นกันมากๆ ในช่วงนี้ สิ่งสำคัญที่สุด นอกจากการสนับสนุน หรือให้ความช่วยเหลือในเรื่องการเงิน สิ่งของ อุปกร์ต่างๆ คือ อยากให้แต่ละบ้าน แต่ละคน ช่วยกันคัดแยกขยะ โดยเฉพาะขยะที่อาจจะมีความเสี่ยงในการติดเชื้อ

Burin Journey joins hands with FIN FIN Channel to run a new project so called “Thais unite fighting with Covid – 19”. So, one of interesting projects is called #SaveWasteCollectionStaff.

How did this project happen?

Most of people usually think of doctors and nurses at first, but there is another important thing that also involved public health. They are waste collection staff.

“We discuss on a proper word, what to use between binman or waste collection staff. We prefer the word “staff” to “binman”.because it shows value of their task and their human being’s dignity. so, we select the word #SaveWasteCollectionStaff for our project.”

How to approach these staffs and give these items to them?

What we intended to provide to waste collection staff are face mask and alcohol gel. At first, we discussed and agreed that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is proper body to work with and we thought that BMA must know each area and its shortage or urgent needs.

However, as per newel pandemic disease, all concerned are new for this, all are so tired (to fight with). They are busy and unable to pick our calls, so, we decided not to wait for, then we documented name lists in 10 BMA’s district.

When we called district office, it made us understand that cleaning department has been divided into parts such as street sweepers.

So, all information we got, it included entire staffs working in cleaning department.

How much money you raised for this project?

Around 100,000 baht. For 100,000 baht we gained is cash. Some others also donated us alcohol gel, or face mask.

Now, we ordered face masks, apart from what we got, still under production, around 540 dozens from local community in Saraburi province. This can help the community too

what did you learn from arranging this project?

What I learned is that we could not do it alone. We should collaborate, especially at this moment, it’s highly recommended.

Most important beside our support either in the form of cash, objects, appliances, etc. I wish each family, every single person to help do “waste separation”. This is crucial, especially for waste risk to contaminate with disease. We should separate these from others.
